Paul's CB92

This page is dedicated to Paul in Towcester and the restoration of his CB92

He found she in a skip a few doors away from where he lived.

As a young student he rescued her and rode until he was able to pass his driving test and afford a car.

He then stripped her down and put her safe for restoration at a later date.

Seeing my web site, made contact and asked if I would be interested in restoration, to which I jumped at.

Not all the parts are present but I believe I can source most of what we need, but if anyone has a pair of push on mufflers and a pair of rear shocks ( any condition ) let me know please.

I have taken some images to start the ball rolling and will add on as we go.

Thanks for looking and please come back again. Bill.

Parts to paint red

Parts to paint silver

Bits to re chrome

Bits and pieces to paint and polish

Lump to clean and rebuild. Starter has been cut off!

Engine coming apart for cleaning and inspection

2010 Starts Here.

Little bit cleaner

After total strip down and clean up I am now rebuilding (lost the pictures of the motor in half due to deleting the wrong file) but bottom end is in very good condition. Have had to replace engine case on one side because the starter housing had been removed ( not showing that yet) but will at later date.

Head stripped and rebuilt. Notice the use of so many Allen screws, these will be replaced with original style parts

Frame and tin work back from painters ( KAS Racepaint in Kettering. Northants ) mighty fine job

Building up now. Waiting for chrome and missing parts, not yet located

This is what we are aiming for. This CB92 is the pride of Phil from Hitchin
